sanders spoke for about an hour tonight... the crowd was very energitic and fairly young... which has always been a blessing and curse.... because getting young people to the polls will likely be a challenge... some iowans will be forced to choose tomorrow night... caucus.. or watch their child play basketball. norwalk is moving its boys and girls games against pella christian from tuesday to caucus day. the dowling southeast polk game was also moved to tomorrow. the moves were because of tuesday's expected snow storm... and dowling's athletic director says both players and school staff were fine with the change. meteorologist amber alexander joins us...

their answer.. the identities of two possible witnesses in a suspicious death investigation. police are hopeful the two people have information about the death of 62-year old kirk blunck. investigators say both are assisting investigators... blunck is a well-known des moines architect. he was found dead last weekend in the east village. police say he fell down a flight of stairs at the "teachout building." the polk county medical examiner has labeled the death suspicious. the woman accused of torching casey's city hall will stand trial tomorrow. former city clerk dorthy dillinger is charged with five counts of mail fraud...and one count of
police say she set the building on fire in august of 20-14... the day before a scheduled audit. dillinger is accused of misspending nearly 300-thousand dollars of city funds and set the fire to cover up the theft. the caucuses won't be the only time people in bondurant vote this week... on tuesday they will decide a 21- million dollar school bond referendum. the money will pay for a new classroom wing and auditorium at the high school... and an addition at morris elementary school. if approved... property taxes on a 150-thousand dollar home would go

bigger problems will move in for the morning commute on tuesday. the majority of snow will fall during the morning
on tuesday, tapering off by the late evening. exact snow totals will depend on where the rain/snow line sets up. if it slides north of the dsm metro, snow totals will be cut down significantly. that being said, right now snow totals are still expected to be in the 5-8" range around des moines with 6-10" farther toward the northwest, 2-4" in the southeast. no matter what, travel

need more than lip service. our next president needs a real plan to keep social security strong.
